The GC-R8 Standard is a highly specialized ground control system (ground controller) designed for the precise operation of unmanned systems in demanding environments. This rugged device serves as the central control unit and is optimized for seamless integration with the Durabook R8 tablet (pricing is quoted without the tablet). With its industrial build and military-standard connectors, the GC-R8 delivers maximum reliability for critical missions in defense, security, and research.

  • Precise control:

    • Equipped with a Hall-effect joystick for durable, precise maneuvering.

    • Features a 5-way direction pad (D-pad) for quick menu navigation.

    • Offers 8 push buttons, two of which are fitted with special flip-guard covers to prevent accidental activation of critical functions.

  • Connectivity & Interfaces (M12 Mil-Connector):

    • The system uses high-strength military M12 connectors for all critical inputs/outputs:

      • 1x DC-IN for power supply.

      • 1x LAN for stable network connections.

      • 1x USB 2.0 for additional peripherals.

  • Ruggedness & Protection:

    • IP66 certification: the housing is fully protected against dust ingress and withstands powerful water jets, enabling use in extreme weather conditions.
